GenieSummary

There are also several trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Milford State Park is a great spot for camping, fishing, swimming, boating, and exploring the wooded Flint Hills of Kansas. The park offers a variety of camping options, including RV spots with great views, horse pens, and tent camping. The campgrounds are well-maintained and have plenty of wooded areas to explore, as well as a medium-sized playground near the swimming area. There are also several trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. The park has beaches, a marina, laundry, firewood, and friendly camp hosts. The park also has a neat auto collection by Easy Jack and Sons, and is an hour away from the Wizard of Oz museum. The campground has concrete pads and pull-throughs, and sites with 50 amp service are located in the Eagle Ridge area. The Eagle Ridge area has a great view of the lake and is far enough away from any parties or loud noises. Verizon coverage is good, but OTA TV channels are limited. There is a dump station, but it is not recommended due to its proximity to a pit toilet. The park also charges a daily vehicle fee.
