This campground is the perfect no fuss stop for those looking to take a quick nap and clean up while passing through. The area is windy, but there is a nice area for dogs to run around and it is right next to a motel with all the extra amenities. The campground has only 10 sites, so it is recommended to arrive early. All the utilities are good, and the sites are level gravel pads that are easily maneuverable. On Wednesday through Sunday, there is a bar/dinner on the grounds that serves one of the best Ribeye steaks around. However, the campground is not well maintained and there are dog droppings everywhere. Hookups for electric, sewer, and water are iffy and it can be hard to locate the sewer cap. The discount coupon to use at the bar/dinner is nothing more than a carrot to have people go in the dirty and poor food establishment.
