GenieSummary
This campground is a great place to stop for a night or two while on the road. It is a well kept public park with 12 gravel pull-thru sites with 50, 30, and 20 amp service, water, a fire pit with a grate, and a nice picnic table. There are lots of trash receptacles, an RV dump, flush toilets, and a pretty little lake with earthen piers for anglers. Nearby is a fish hatchery and a wildlife area with a boardwalk path that was closed during our visit. The park gets a lot of day use, and the sites are all gravel and stone, large and level. The daily rate for electric and water hookup is $15, and dry camping is $5. There is a small park with some swings and a playhouse with a slide, and a walking trail through the marsh adjacent to the camping area. The town of Pratt is also nearby and has a vibrant downtown. The only drawbacks are the traffic later at night for the amount of campers in the park, and the lack of sewer connections and only one bathroom per gender.
