Stockton City Park is a small, well-maintained campground located at the city limits of Stockton on west Hwy 24. It offers 5-7 sites with mostly 30 AMP outlets, gravel sites, and 50 AMP service. The park is equipped with a playground for children, a barbeque area, a large field, and a dump station. Reservations can be made by calling City Hall and paying at the self pay station at the park shelter house. The park is adjacent to downtown and across the street from the high school football stadium, so visitors should be aware of the teams training in the late afternoons during the school season. Cash is the only accepted form of payment. The park is a great spot for families with children and those looking to do some family research in Stockton, as the Pizza Hut is only open Thurs-Sun. Unfortunately, there are no sewer connections, but the water is good pressure and the sites are nearly level. Wifi is available, but it may not work on all devices.
