This RV park is an older, small park located near Forbes Field Air National Guard Base in south Topeka. The spaces are close together and pull-through, accommodating big rigs but not the tow vehicle. The sites are level and graveled with trees, but not big enough for shade. The park manager is very friendly and accommodating, providing a picnic dinner for the campers on 4 holidays per year. The park has good water pressure and signals for ATT, Verizon, and DirecTV. Unfortunately, there is a nightclub backing up to the park and airplane noise from the base. There is no laundry on site, but a laundromat, restaurants, post office, and grocery store are all a block away.

Forbes Landing RV Park is located behind Topeka's Super 8 at Forbes Landing, less than two miles from Heartland Park Racetrack Topeka and is the closest RV park to the Mars International Candy Plant. Only minutes from the Stormont Vail Event Center, downtown Topeka, and other area attractions, it's the most ideal campground to overnight at or remain for an extended stay! Enjoy the rural main street setting—walking distance to John's grocery store/gas station, an ATM machine, post office, barber shop/beauty salon, cleaners/laundromat, Buffalo Grill BBQ Restaurant, & the infamous Banjo's Café. The park offers modern clean bathrooms, level hard-surfaced pull-thru sites, sewer and water at every site, 30/50 Amp electrical service at every site, HD digital cable TV with 72+ channels, Wi-Fi, dump station, over 125 trees, and free use of clubhouse with kitchen facilities.
