GenieSummary
The campground is located in a small town with access to gas and groceries. It is a safe place to rest and the park is clean and well-maintained with freshly mowed and edged grass, aerated ground, and concrete pads that slope down from the street but level out at the bottom. There is a walking path around the lake, sidewalks, playground, picnic tables, benches, and picnic shelters. The utility set-up is unusual and the spigot is wrapped in heater tape for year-round use. There is no swimming in the lake and the water is an odd color green, so no pets are allowed. The campground is somewhat isolated from town and there is a lot of cruising traffic through the park circle during the day and early evening. After dark, teens drive through playing music with the bass cranked up and some younger kids are out late on school nights. Police drive through frequently, but the lighting is fairly good. There is a 14-day limit for stays and the campground is open all year.
