We’re still collecting and analyzing information on this particular campground. As we gather sufficient data, we’ll automatically generate a GenieSummary. You can help by submitting a review on this campground.

From The Campground

Atlas Ad Astra Adventure Resort offers a unique experience to learn about the history of the Cold War and the Atlas Program by touring the Atlas F Missile Base. Visitors can descend several flights of stairs and gaze down into an enormous 176 ft. deep silo which once held an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). The site is somewhat of a construction zone, so visitors must be aware of their surroundings and follow safety guidelines. The resort also offers tent camping, car camping, and RV parking. Amenities include a biodigesting toilet, walking/biking paths, community campfire nightly, outdoor games, massage therapy, and gourmet meals by reservation. The Launch Control Center will become an educational center, showcasing the technologies and products that will enable us to create resilient and self-sustaining human habitat both on Earth and, someday, on other planets.
