This campground is located conveniently close to downtown Bardstown and the Bourbon Trail. It offers pull-thru sites with two strips large enough for your tires, but the angle of the sites can be a bit inconvenient. Unfortunately, the sites do not come with a picnic table, fire pit, or dry area around the electrical hookup. The bathrooms and showers are clean and stocked, but the shower area lacks a bench for sitting and a shelf for personal items. The restrooms are in need of repair and the fixtures are missing or broken. The campground owner has a rule that some of his buddies can be noisy, drinking, singing, and playing music after 10pm. Payment must be made within 24 hours of making a reservation or the reservation will be canceled. The work-camper works hard at getting the campground in shape, but the owner does not seem to be willing to put much into it.
