From The Campground
Beech Bend Campground is located in Bowling Green, KY and offers over 400 camping sites. The campground is gently nestled in the “bend” of the Barren River lined with hundreds of “beech” trees. It began entertaining guests as a picnic area dating back to the late 1800’s. The campground offers a variety of camping options including 175+ full hook up, 30amp sites, 39 full hook up, 50amp sites, 175+ water & 30amp electric sites, ten 30amp electric only sites and numerous primitive sites. The “Wooded” area of approximately 14 acres offers grass camping and ample shade in the summer. This area is open for Tent and RV Camping and offers over 170 water and 30amp electric sites and 4 electric only sites. The “Open” area of the campground offers over 160 pull through paved sites with full water and electric hook up. Additional primitive camping is offered in the bend of the Barren River. Fishing in the river is allowed but KY state fish and wildlife laws apply and a fishing license may be required.
