GenieSummary
It was very quiet and peaceful. The sites were very level and the campground was very clean. We had a great view of the lake. The sites had plenty of room for our RV and our tow vehicle. There was a nice playground for the kids and a beach area. The only downside is that the campground is a bit off the beaten path and it is a bit of a drive to get to the campground. Hurricane Creek Campground is a peaceful and secluded getaway tucked away in the woods on the east side of Land Between The Lakes. This small and intimate campground offers 15 waterfront sites, a playground, beach, boat ramp, and small bath house. The sites are equipped with fire rings with grills, electricity, water, dump station, trash dumpster, and dry firewood for purchase. Cell service is good for Verizon and AT&T, while T-Mobile is non-existent. The campground is located off of Rt 274 and is a bit of a drive to get to, but the roads are well maintained. The sites are level, with plenty of room for RVs and tow vehicles, and have great views of the lake. There is also a nearby Elk & Bison Prairie for $5/vehicle, and a diner called the Watering Hole 1 mi up the road. The only downside is that the campground is across the way from a very large marina, which can be a bit distracting with the accompanying music and revelry.
