Overall, a great place to stay and I would recommend it to others. This campground is a great place for a family getaway! It is a new campground, so the trees are not very mature yet, but there is plenty of room between sites and a nice view across the pond. The sites are mostly level and are of crushed rock, and there are full hookups with good water pressure and stable electric. There is a playground, basketball court, and a lake for fishing or renting a kayak, as well as a grocery store within walking distance. The park is close to Venture River and other great areas around Kentucky Dam, and is just far enough off the freeway that you dont have to listen to loud traffic all night. The owner is friendly and offers a 10% discount for veterans, and is expanding the park for next year. The water park across the pond is great for kids, and the rest of the park is very clean and well maintained. The only downsides are the lack of shade, no cable or laundry facilities, and poor WiFi.

Venture River RV Park is a family-friendly campground located onsite at Venture River Waterpark in Eddyville, Kentucky. The campground offers 40 RV sites and 10 primitive campsites, a newly constructed bathhouse with showers, a small camp store for supplies, a lake for fishing, kayak & paddleboat rentals, and a playground for the little ones. Guests can enjoy the water slides, wave pools, and volleyball at the adjacent Venture River Park. The campground is open year-round and hosts events like the Monster Mash on October 22.
