Camp Carlson Army Recreational Area offers tent camping sites, RV sites, and picnic areas for military ID card holders. Tent camping sites come equipped with a grill, picnic table, and fire ring, and have hot showers and laundry facilities available. RV sites have water, electric, and sewer hookups, and all sites are located in well-shaded areas. The campground also offers four reserve picnic areas with barbecue grills, shelters, volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits. Reservations are required for picnic areas and RV sites. The campground has a cancellation policy for reservations. Winter hours of operation are limited.
