The sites are mostly on grass, but some are paved. The campground is located just a few miles off of I-24 in Kentucky, just two miles down the road from the Kentucky Dam Village Resort Park. It offers hookups for RVs and campers, as well as access to swimming, horseback riding, kayaking, and shopping in the nearby towns. The park is clean and well kept, and there are plenty of trails, boat launches, and views of the dam. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the park is working on improvements to make it more user friendly. There are some train and road noises, but overall it is a great place to stay.
