Horse Cave KOA in Horse Cave, KY is a great family-friendly campground with well-maintained sites for RVs, tents, and also unique lodging options such as teepees and treehouses. The recently remodeled bathrooms are kept clean and the camp store offers a variety of items. The view of Kentucky hills from the site is breathtaking. There is a catch-and-release pond, but the pool wasnt open yet at the time of the visit. The campground offers many activities and amenities for children and families. The only downside is that the highway noise from I-65 can be noticeable, but its not too bothersome. Overall, Horse Cave KOA is a great base camp for exploring the surrounding area.

If you've ever been intrigued by the subterranean world, plan a stay at Horse Cave KOA. It lies in the heart of one of the most significant cave regions on the planet. Beneath the area's rumpled hills, eons of dripping and flowing waters have worn through the limestone bedrock, creating a maze of underground rooms, rivers and sinkholes. Nearby Mammoth Cave National Park preserves the world's largest known cave system. If you're up for adventure, try the belly-crawling, six-hour Wild Cave Tour ( Need to call Mammoth Cave for booking). Cleanup is easy at KOA, where you'll find top-notch family bathrooms and laundry facilities. We also offer Camping Cabins, Wagons, Teepees, Treehouses and shady Pull-Thru RV Sites, a swimming pool, mini golf, a jumping pillow, free fishing, basketball, volleyball and a playground for the kids.
