Canal Campground is a great place to stay for a holiday weekend or a week-long trip. Located close to Grand Rivers and Land Between the Lakes, the campground offers a variety of activities and amenities. There are trails to walk, a day use area, a pavilion, a flag pole, and a large area for outdoor games and activities. The campground has Water and Electric hookups, as well as newer showerhouse/laundry facilities and dump stations. There are also pull-thru sites, picnic tables, and fire rings. The campground is well-maintained with a gorgeous, beautiful, well-groomed landscape and nicely treed sites. There are also wide roads and pull-thrus for bigger rigs. The only downside is that there are only a few bathhouses, so depending on your site it could be quite a distance to get to the bathroom. There is also a lot of smoke from campfires that can be an issue. Cell service is good, but there are no OTA channels. Be careful when driving the roads in this park because there are several deer that live here.
