This campground is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation. It is located in the mountains and next to a reservoir, making it an ideal spot for boating and fishing. The entrance is a bit tricky, but the sites are large, level, and private. The bathrooms and showers are kept clean and there is a laundry facility onsite. There are several stores nearby for essentials and Walmart is just a short drive away. The campground is very clean and well cared for, with new coated metal tables and fire rings. There is a long hiking trail at the end of the B loop and plenty of streams and springs in the area. The campground has full hookups and cable TV, and there is good cell service with AT&T and Verizon. The night sky is very dark and the stars are brilliant. Unfortunately, there is a lot of litter throughout the campground, and the rules are not enforced. Despite this, it is a great place to stay and the hosts are friendly and helpful.
