Nolin Lake State Park is a great spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. It offers a variety of activities for the whole family, including water sports, hiking trails, fishing, boating, and more. The campground is situated on Nolin River Lake and offers spacious sites with level, pea-sized gravel, picnic tables, fire rings, and lantern posts. The sites are well-separated and provide plenty of privacy. The lake shore sites offer beautiful views, but can be noisy if the park is fully booked. There is no cell service, but the night sky is breathtaking with almost zero light pollution. The campground is close to Mammoth Cave and Cave City, and the park office can provide driving instructions that include a free ferry ride across the Green River.
