Sites are well spaced and have good shade. Campground is well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. Verizon service was good, but the campground WiFi was spotty. The beach area was nice and there was a large swimming area. Maverics Place restaurant is nearby and the intersection at Ky259/79 has fuel, food and a liquor store. Axtel is a great place for families to enjoy a beach without leaving KY!
