Twin Knobs Campground is a beautiful, well-maintained campground located in the Appalachian Mountains and on the shore of Cave Run Lake. It offers a variety of camping options, including full hookups, water/electric, and standard sites, as well as double sites. The sites are well spaced out and offer plenty of privacy, and the wooded area provides plenty of shade. Amenities include a camp store, beach, boat ramp, and clean bathrooms. The hosts are friendly and work hard to keep the sites clean and in order. There is also a public laundry room and camp store at the beach. The lake is easily accessible and offers plenty of activities, such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, and boating. There are also plenty of hiking trails in the area. The campground does not allow hover boards, motor bikes, or golf carts, and is a great place for families with young children.

From The Campground
Twin Knobs is a 700-acre campground located at Cave Run Lake on Cumberland District. The campground provides outdoor recreation with lots of amenities. Nearly 200 campsites are developed to accommodate RVs and tent camping. The campground facilities include bath houses with showers and flush toilets; three group-use areas; scenic foot trails with overlooks; and nearby boat ramps with vehicle and boat trailer parking. The campground also has volleyball courts, basketball goals and horseshoe pits. A sandy beach with a roped swimming area offers visitors a spectacular view of the lake. Boats are allowed outside of the swimming area. The Twin Knobs store is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., 7 days a week. Your one stop shop to purchase food, floats, ice, wood, etc. during your beach and camping stay.
