What others are saying about this campground
This campground is a great place for locals to camp for the season. It is located 10 miles from town and has good roads all the way. There is a lake that you can take a canoe or small boat on, and a 1.5 mile walking trail. The sites are grass and gravel, but most are on a hill so not many are level. There are a few cabins, and dump stations and bath houses are convenient. The best sites are reserved for seasonal campers, and the bathrooms are small with only 2 showers. There is an on-site manager, and the campground is quiet and secluded. The scenery is beautiful and the lake is nice, but no swimming is allowed. If the county put some money into the park and leveled the sites and put in a new and good size bath house, it would receive better reviews.
