Pulaski County Park is a great campground located just a 10 minute drive from Somerset. It has a large walking trail, archery area, dock, and a beautiful lake view. There are plenty of activities for kids to enjoy, such as a basketball court, volleyball court, disc golf, and a small beach area. Camping here is affordable and the sites are close together. However, there is a no alcohol rule and it can get loud at night. The campground has improved over the years, with more RV sites added, and there are several shelters available to rent. There are also hiking trails near the entrance and different types of camp areas ranging from primitive to cabins. Boat ramps are accessible and there is a store and dishwashing station. The only downside is that the shower house is outdated and not kept clean during busy times. There is also no sewer hookup, only a dump station. Despite this, it is a great place to spend a family weekend or just relax with great lake views and plenty of activities.
