Three Springs Campground in Sadieville, KY is a small and well-kept campground that is perfect for a quiet getaway. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the site is unique with predominantly transient sites set along a running stream. Crossing the small bridges over the stream is a unique and pleasant experience. The campground offers necessary amenities such as water, power, and internet, but does not offer sewer hookups. However, there is a dump station on site. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. The site is conveniently located near I-75 and attractions such as the Ark Encounter. The owners are nice and wood can be delivered to your site at a good price. The park is excellent for a couple of days and offers a real camping experience, not just an RV park. The only negatives to be aware of are the narrow road coming in, which is common on back roads in Kentucky, and the poor WiFi signal in some sites. Despite these minor inconveniences, we recommend Three Springs Campground overall and would come back for another tranquil stay.

Three Springs Campground is a laid-back, family-friendly spot in the Kentucky countryside—just ten miles south of the Ark Encounter and not far off I-75. It’s the kind of place where mornings are quiet, kids can run around, and evenings end with a fire and a sky full of stars. Whether you’re in an RV, renting a cabin, or just looking for a peaceful basecamp, it’s an easy place to settle in. The campground has the basics covered—full hookup sites, a pond for fishing, trails to wander, and space to stretch out. Families love the playground and the open feel, and there’s a sense of calm here that makes it easy to unplug for a bit. If you're looking to explore, Elkhorn Creek is a great spot nearby for paddling or tossing in a fishing line. You can walk the riverside trails at Great Crossing Park, or take a short drive to Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm to visit some of Kentucky’s most beloved retired racehorses. Fall brings big community events like the Horsey Hundred cycling tour and Georgetown’s Festival of the Horse, with food, music, and small-town charm. If it’s hot out, Taylorsville Lake State Park is a solid pick for a swim or a picnic by the water. If you're looking for camping near Georgetown that offers peace, nature, and some good old-fashioned time outdoors, Three Springs is a great place to start.
