What others are saying
Clear Creek Campground is the perfect spot for those looking for a nature-filled getaway. With plenty of activities to do in the area such as hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and climbing, there is something for everyone. The campground itself is quite basic, with vault toilets, running water, and RV hookups. The sites are large, level, and gravel with paved roads, and some sites even have access to a smaller creek. The Camp Host, Walt, is friendly and knowledgeable, and can even lend you an old CD of his from his musician days. The nearby picnic area has an old iron furnace, and the nearby Cave Run Lake is great for swimming and kayaking. This campground is used heavily during hunting season and during holidays, but is usually quite peaceful during the early spring and late fall.

From The Campground
Clear Creek Campground is a peaceful campground located on the Cumberland District, off Zilpo National Forest Scenic Byway near a quiet stream. Each campsite has a tent pad, grill, and lantern pole. The campground is nearby to Clear Creek Iron Furnace, Clear Creek Boat Ramp, Clear Creek Picnic Area, and Clear Creek Shooting Range. The historic landmark, Clear Creek Iron Furnace, dates back to the early 1800s and an interpretive sign at the furnace explains how the furnace was used in the region's early development. The campground is open from the 3rd Friday in March to December 31st.
