Outpost Campground & RV Park is a quiet and charming campground located about 3 miles south of I-64 in Salt Lick, KY. The pull-through sites are well oriented and flat, making set up very easy. The playground is centrally located, allowing kids to have some fun while you set up camp. The owner is also a very nice person and is always willing to help. While not every site is ideal, most are level, and the CG is quite clean and well-maintained. There are some narrow, one-lane gravel roads on the property, but they are well-marked, and maneuvering your RV is not too difficult. Other amenities in the park include a small basketball area and a nicely sized pickleball court. There is only limited TV signal available, but the 5G coverage for those with AT&T cellular service is excellent. Overall, a great choice for a peaceful getaway, and there are many activities available in the nearby towns as well.
