This campground is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The sites are level, pull through, and have 50 amp service. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the campground is kept meticulously clean. The ride from the dam down to the campground is beautiful and serene, and there is plenty to do in the area with Cave Run Lake for water adventures and Lockegee Rock and the Sheltowee Trail for hiking. The Licking River has several fish species, from the fun to catch bluegill to the Muskellunge. The campground provides fire rings, picnic tables, and wood, and the host (Justin) will bring you wood and a picnic table when you arrive. The hammock area set up by the river is a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The grandkids will love playing in the river, which is about 1 to 2 feet deep, and they can catch crawdads and tadpoles. They also offer a shuttle up to the dam, and Justin will pull your kayaks out and take them up the hill for you. This campground is a must-see and you wont want to leave.

From The Campground
With The Ole Cornfield being located a mere 2 miles from Cave Run Lake, we are easily located and close to the other attractions that you may be searching for. We offer several quiet primitive campsites right on the Licking River and also have kayak rentals available. The river is beautiful and the campground is clean and friendly. Come see us this weekend!
