This campground is situated on a beautiful and well-kept piece of property, an old tobacco farm, with rolling hills and tall trees. It has 300 sites with electric and water hook-ups, as well as a convenient water fill area and dump station. The sites are big with lots of grass, perfect for overnight stays. It is pet-friendly, and the last couple of miles on the county road is a little narrow but not curvey or up-and-down. However, the campground is basically an open overgrown field with very narrow unkempt gravel roads, and the train whistles can be quite loud at night. The rate is usually $30, but it goes up to $75 on race weekends.
