Baileys Point Campground is a beautiful and relaxing destination located off of I-65. It is situated on a finger of land with winding roads and plenty of trees, offering a great family atmosphere on the weekends and peace and quiet during the week. Most of the sites have water and electric hookups, a picnic table, a fire ring, and a lantern stand, and many of them offer a lake view. The roads within the campground are narrow and winding, so it is important to unhook your tow vehicle before leaving the check in area. The sites are generally level and large, but some require backing skills. The campground also offers a boat ramp, fossil collecting, swimming, playground areas, fishing, volleyball pit, horseshoe pit, and a small stage with seating area for family talent shows. The camp store offers firewood, ice, and emergency items, but there are no sewer hookups. The park rangers are visible and enforcing the rules, and the campground host is very friendly. Baileys Point is a great destination for an enjoyable camping experience.
