Koomer Ridge Campground is a semi-primitive campground located in the Red River Gorge on Cumberland District of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The campground provides access to trails in the Red River Gorge and features a tranquil forest setting. There are 54 sites suitable for tents and 19 for trailers, with 15 sites that can accommodate RVs up to 35 feet. Drinking water is available from hydrants all year, and accessible vault toilets are available year-round. The flush toilets and showers are closed for the 2022-2023 winter season. Visitors pay at the site using a fee envelope, and there is a 50% discount with Interagency Pass. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Campfires are permitted in fire rings only. Visitor programs are held on weekends.
