Abita Springs RV Resort is located in the small town of Abita Springs, LA and boasts large pine trees. The staff is friendly, helpful, and showed us the available sites via golf cart. We chose the site with the most amount of room between campers and had to shuffle picnic tables a bit to fit. The designated dog area provided off-leash space and there were bags available for scooping. There were a couple of nature trails for walks. The pond had a high level of pollen and algae, but ducks and geese roamed freely around and it was fairly quiet with minimal noise. The laundry was clean and prices were reasonable. The location is about 45 minutes to New Orleans across the Causeway with a $5 toll southbound. While there are some things that could be improved upon, we had a good time and plan to go back again next year.

Abita Springs Resort is a beautiful Louisiana RV park located in St. Tammany Parish. The resort offers visitors a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by pine forests, pure air, and mineral waters. The resort provides a variety of recreational opportunities and camping conveniences, including fishing, wireless internet, walking path, planned activities, kitchen serving meals on weekends, new comfortable cabins, quiet/wooded area with shaded sites, artesian springs, large clubhouse with lending library, pool, and children's pool. The resort is also close to area plantations, world-class fishing and boating, and heel-kicking Cajun dancing.
