Barksdale Air Force Base Fam Camp is a great place for a peaceful stay. Located a good distance from the main base and town, the campground offers large, level concrete pull-thru sites with full hook-ups, gravel interior roads, and a picnic table on a concrete slab 25 away from the motorhome. The campground is open everyday from 0600-2200 and is conveniently located near the interstate. The campground also offers a clubhouse, laundry facility, and a small shopette. There is free WiFi, however it is only accessible in the clubhouse. The campground is relatively quiet, except for occasional aircraft operations, and is surrounded by wooded areas. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the facilities are clean and well maintained.
