Maxies Campground in Broussard, Louisiana is a small, clean park that is suitable for an overnight stay. Its right on a main highway with a lot of traffic, but the noise was not an issue for some guests. The park is relatively small and has several long-term residents, but they are not allowed to homestead with junk. There are level gravel sites and a few concrete, with some sites being treed. The laundry room is clean and has several machines, and some guests were happy to find out that packages are accepted. The new owner is working to make improvements and some notices that changes are noticeable, like new concrete pads going down in the laundry room. Wi-Fi here is fantastic, with local TV stations available OTA. T-Mobile works great but AT&T is marginal. The park is located about five to ten minutes away from Lafayette, allowing guests to visit nearby stores and restaurants.

Maxie's Campground is a family-owned RV park located in the heart of Cajun Country in Broussard, Louisiana. Founded in 1968, the campground offers a convenient location on US 90, next door to Arceneaux Park and 5 minutes from St. Julien Park and Sports Complex. The newly remodeled bathhouse and laundry facility provide excellent amenities, including full hookups with 20, 30, and 50 amps at each site. The campground offers the most competitive rates in the area, making it the best value for your money. Visitors can enjoy the attractions of Cajun Country, including the Tabasco® Brand Factory Tour, Broussard Sports Complex, St. Julien Park, Parish Brewing, Vermilionville Historic Village, Celebrity Theaters, Jungle Gardens, Rip Van Winkle Gardens, Arceneaux Park, Zoosiana, and Swamp Tours and Lake Martin.
