What others are saying about this campground
Jimmie Davis State Park in Chatham, LA is a fantastic campground, offering wonderful amenities and a peaceful atmosphere. The majority of campsites are well-spaced and level with 50-amp electric and water hookups. The park offers excellent facilities such as boat launches, fish cleaning stations, multiple playgrounds, bike riding and fishing opportunities, beaches and a splash pad. The park is relatively quiet and is perfect for RV campers looking for a family-oriented environment. The campgrounds and roads are very well maintained and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. While the showers could have been cleaner, it didnt diminish the overall great experience. Its worth noting that there is no sewage hookup, only a dump station, which might be inconvenient for longer stays. Overall, Jimmie Davis State Park is a great option for RV campers seeking a peaceful and uplifting camping experience.
