Cajun Campground is a kid-friendly campground with plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family. The campground offers mostly gravel sites with concrete patios, a large pool, mini golf, game room, small store, snack shop, and gazebo. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and the campground offers a low monthly rate of $375 for full hookups, 30/50 amp service, wifi, clean laundry and showers/bathroom. On the weekends, you can enjoy crawfish and shrimp boiled on-site. The only drawback is the noise from the highway and trains. The campground is close to shopping and good food, and there are plenty of areas to fish and ride bikes. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay. The campground has a problem with people not picking up after their pets, and the bathrooms were hot and uncomfortable. There is a risk of encountering indigent, drugged/drunk people using the bathhouse and dumpster after dark. Despite these drawbacks, the campground is a great place to stay, with friendly staff and a reasonable price.
