The campground is quiet and peaceful. The staff is friendly and helpful. The views of the bay are beautiful. AT&T service is good but T-Mobile is non-existent. Starlink has full view and signal. Burns Point Campground is a peaceful and quiet spot located in Centerville, Louisiana, right on the shore of Cote Blanche Bay. The gravel parking lot and road into the campground give it a rustic feel, and the views of the bay are breathtaking. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the price is right. There are full hookups available, and the sites are tightly spaced. Fishing is available right from behind some of the camping sites, and there is a public boat launch right next to the campground. AT&T service is good, but T-Mobile is non-existent. Starlink has full view and signal. The campground can get busy on the weekends, but it is generally quiet during the week. There are no services or attractions nearby, and the bathroom needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning. The showers are in bad shape, and dogs are off leash. There is a noisy machinery (pump?) running intermittently near the bathrooms. Despite these drawbacks, this is an ideal spot if youre a fisherman or if youre looking for a quiet, inexpensive place to camp while traveling long distances.
