This campground is an older park located near Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Lafayette, making it a great place to stay for temporary employment in the area. The park is maintained, but the sites can be a bit junky due to the full-timers who have extra vehicles and junk parked at their sites. The sites are very close together, and the maneuvering between the RVs and their vehicles can be tight due to narrow roads and small lots. The staff are friendly, and the park has a dog park, easy access to the interstate, and is on a pond. The park has 50 amp service, but it is the fake 50 that many parks put in when they dont want to run another electric wire. There is a laundromat with 4 washers and dryers and an attached fitness room, but it can be hard to get quarters from the office staff. The Wi-Fi is not dependable, and there are rundown apartments across the road with people revving up their cars and playing loud boom-boxes late into the night.
