Lake Claiborne State Park is a beautiful campground in a picturesque rolling hills area where the road leading into the park has a historical marker noting its significance during prohibition. The park staff is courteous and professional, and the bathrooms and park are kept clean. However, the closest gas and grocery store is a 15-mile drive away, and there is no Wi-Fi in the park. The AT&T signal is also non-existent in the area. Some sites, such as #63, #65, and #67 in Area 2, offer great views and more space if youre seeking a lake view and a personal area. However, if youre camping with a group, you may need to choose closer spots. The Lake views are stunning, with sunrises and sunsets over the lake and tall Pine trees providing gorgeous scenery.

Lake Claiborne State Park offers a variety of facilities and activities for visitors to enjoy. The park features cabins, a pavilion, and a meeting room available for rent. Visitors can also rent kayaks, canoes, and flat bottom boats to explore the lake. The park has several hiking trails, a disc golf course, and opportunities for birding. Personal golf carts are allowed on the property with a permit.
