This family-owned campground is situated in a beautiful, rural setting on Lake Arthur and Grand Lake in South Louisiana. It is a rustic, mom and pop campground with accommodating staff and a fully stocked camp store. All full-hookup campsites have a waterfront view, and the lake is perfect for kayaking and fishing. The campsites are grassy and level, and the large pecan and oak trees provide a cooling canopy. There is no pool, but plenty of room for the kids to ride their bikes and explore. The campground also has a boat dock, boat launch, and pier. The water supply is from a well with a heavy iron content, so an inline filter is recommended. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the camp store carries tobacco products, ice, and other amenities. This is a great place to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country.
