From The Campground
Hunter Camp is a primitive camping area located in Kisatchie National Forest. The camping area has a loop and a vault restroom facility. It is centrally located near the Ouiska Chitto Trail and the Longleaf Scenic Area. The Big Branch Trail runs right next to the camp. The camp offers camping, hiking, and nature viewing activities. The camp is located 7 miles south of Leesville on U.S. Hwy 171 and 16 miles east on LA Hwy 10. The camp is open year-round and reservations are not required.
