What others are saying about this campground
Beaver Dam is a beautiful US Forest Service campground located in the Sugar Cane National Recreation Trail. It features 30 large and level sites with electric and water hookups, all of which are private and spacious. The campsites overlook the lake and are separated for privacy and well maintained. The fire pits are the only issue, as they are poorly designed and have no ventilation. The restrooms and showers are clean, and the campground host is friendly and helpful. There is zero Verizon connection at most spots, but AT&T does have 1-2 bars. Bring bug spray and watch your small animals, as gators rule the lake. Overall, Beaver Dam is a great spot to get away and enjoy nature.
