What others are saying about this campground
The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot. This campground is a great place to stay for a night or longer when passing through the Baton Rouge area. It is situated right on the river, with a dock, gazebo, and fire pit. Sites have full hookups and some have picnic tables. The restrooms and laundry facilities are currently undergoing renovations. The owner, Libby, is friendly and helpful. The biggest drawback is the sewer drainage hook up being high out of the ground, causing poor drainage flow from the camper. The roads are gravel, with a few minor pot holes, and it is quiet at night. Wi-Fi and TV reception is poor. The majority of the sites are occupied by long-term RVs, and a 3% surcharge is added when paying with a credit card. The pool is clean and closes at 7 PM. The bathrooms and showers are clean, but the outdoor pavilion could use some work. The campground is conveniently located close to the freeway, with easy access for big rigs. There is a vegetable/fruit roadside market nearby. This is a great place to stay for exploring the area.
