Nakatosh Campground is a small, family-friendly park with basic amenities located right off of La Hwy 1 in Natchitoches, LA. While there is some highway noise from the nearby truck stop, the park is generally quiet and peaceful. The sites are mostly level gravel, and the utility poles have some issues, but everything generally works well. There is a large grassy area by the lake that provides a pleasant place to sit and enjoy the view. Although the cable didnt work during some stays, there are other options for entertainment. There is a laundry room for guest use, and the park is pet-friendly with plenty of open green spaces. Nakatosh is a great option for an overnight stop or a longer stay if you want to explore the charming town of Natchitoches, which is conveniently located nearby.
