This campground is a great spot for RVers to stay and explore the local area. It offers level concrete sites with full hookups, a pool, a lazy river with a swim-up bar, a fishing pond, and a covered pavilion with tables and chairs. The park is conveniently located near Avery Island, Jeanerette museum, and plantations. There is a small store on site, but visitors should bring their own tubes for the lazy river. The park also offers discounts for military personnel and Good Sams members. On the weekends, there are bands playing and drinks and snacks available at the bar. However, the sites are narrow and close together, and there is no shade or fire rings. There is also an issue with non-campers using the pool on the weekends, so it can be difficult to enjoy swimming. The roads in the park can be narrow and difficult to maneuver when it is full. Golf carts are allowed for a fee, and there are many Cajun restaurants in the surrounding area.
