MG RV Park is a cramped, run-down campground located near noxious-smelling oil refineries. The sites are filled with FEMA trailers and have sewer vent stacks emitting odors at eye level. The convenience store parking lot is filled with Ladies of the evening up to mid morning. Access is tricky due to construction on the nearby drawbridge. The owner is aware of the loose pit bull on the premises. The campground is located in a better neighborhood than the nearby RV Resort, but is still not a pleasant place to stay. There is a new Winn-Dixie supermarket and plenty of fast food restaurants nearby, and the French Quarter is only a 10 minute drive away. All in all, this is not a pleasant place to stay, and is not recommended.
