This campground is located close to Baton Rouge and is a convenient stop for travelers. It has level gravel pull-through sites, gravel and grass roads, and is easy to get into and around. The office and store are run-down and dirty, and a 3% surcharge is added when paying with a credit card. There is no Wi-Fi or cable available, but the major networks can be picked up over-the-air with good HD signals. The campground is quiet, but filled with long-term RVs and the roads are gravel with a few minor pot holes. The staff is friendly and helpful and the pool is clean, although it closes at 7 PM. The campground is also near a vegetable/fruit roadside market. The area is prone to heavy rains and there is no place to walk outside without near ankle deep water and mud.
