The Civic Center Campground is a great spot to stay for a night or two if youre passing through the city. Its located on the Frog Festival grounds and is close to a large city park with ball diamonds and a walking path. The campground is easy to access and is within walking distance of restaurants and services. The entrance is not well marked, but it is right next to the police station. You can pay at City Hall or the Police Station, both of which are within a half mile of the Interstate access. The campground offers 30 amp electric hookups and some sites have sewer hookups. There is a dump station, but you can also use the sewer connection nearby when you leave. There are no tables, fire rings, etc., just a grass field to park on. There is a bath house on site, but it is not used. The sites are level and the utilities are located at the rear. Be careful when parking in the grass, as it can get muddy if it rains.
