This campground is located off I-20 and is a great spot for last minute reservations. It is a tight campground surrounded by woods and hilly terrain, and is muffled by trees and the occasional train whistle. The roads are not paved and are narrow, but they are easily maneuvered. The sites are level with full hookups and a deck with a picnic table. The handicap restrooms and showers are rated excellent by Good Sam. The rate reflects a discount and is $22.50. Unfortunately, it is hard to get in touch with the owner/manager as they do not answer the phone and do not call back if a message is left. Additionally, there are too many full time old trailer tenants. Despite this, the lady that took care of us was prompt and friendly, and the site was easily accessible. There is road noise, but also a lake and lots of terrain.
