Tickfaw State Park is a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. Located in the woods of South Louisiana, the park offers a variety of activities for all ages. Enjoy a splash park, boardwalks, fishing ponds, bike riding, canoeing, and primitive hiking. The RV sites are all level and paved with picnic table, deck grill and fire pit. All sites are asphalt, have 30/50 amps, water, level, wide, long, and have lots of room on each side. The campground also offers a free laundry room, a dump station, showers, flush toilets, and Verizon cell service. The park also has a nature center and interactive crafts for kids. Enjoy the local wildlife, including raccoons, rabbits, birds, and snakes. Dont forget to check out the nearby towns of Springfield and Ponchatoula for food and antique shopping. With rates starting at $10 a night, Tickfaw State Park is an affordable and fun way to explore the Louisiana outdoors.

Tickfaw State Park is a beautiful park in Louisiana that offers visitors the chance to experience four different ecosystems. Visitors can stroll through over a mile of boardwalks and see a cypress/tupelo swamp, a bottomland hardwood forest, a mixed pine/hardwood forest, and the Tickfaw River. The park also offers night hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and a water playground. Visitors can stay in one of the park's cabins or campsites and enjoy the local flora and fauna.
