This campground is conveniently located off the highway and is a great spot for an overnight stay. It offers level concrete pads for pull-throughs, easy in and out, and plenty of trees and grass. The WiFi is excellent and there is a pool and pet area. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the owners live on-site. It is close to the Creole Nature Trail and the Louisiana coast, and there is shopping in Vinton and nearby towns. Unfortunately, the electric is unreliable and there are high spikes in voltage that can cause the EMS system to shut off power. The roads can be muddy and full of potholes after rain, and the hall was damaged in the hurricane. The restrooms and showers are advertised as open 24 hours, but this is not true.

Vinton RV Park is a premier RV park nestled in shaded Oak Trees just off of I-10 in Vinton, Louisiana. We are 20 minutes west of Lake Charles just down the road from Delta Downs Raceway. Our amenities include FREE laundry, WIFI, and a swimming pool. We also have a recreational building where you can sit, relax, and play some games. Some major attractions near this Vinton RV park include: casinos, restaurants, festivals, golfing, nature and boating tours.
