Lone Mountain Riverfront Camping is a beautiful campground in Andover, ME that offers level and grassy sites with good electric and water. Navigating the wide interior roads is easy, and the staff is very friendly. While there is no OTA TV signal, Verizon signal is good. The campground is great for ATV and horse enthusiasts and is a great family-oriented campground. Although there are no pools, guests can bathe in the stream depending on the amount of rain or snow in the area. There is also a playground, plenty of space for bike riding and snowmobiling in the winter. Lone Mountain is a relatively quiet campground, with clean facilities and beautiful new bathrooms and showers. The owners are very nice and welcoming, and pets are also allowed. The campground is equestrian-friendly, with sites for horses to roam, and there are plenty of areas, caves, and hiking trails to explore. Visitors can also check out the nearby diner that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the Appalachian Trail runs through the area. Lone Mountain is a great place to use as a home base for trail riding with ATVs or horses.
