This campground is a great home base for exploring Bangor and Acadia National Park. It offers 52 shaded and sunny sites with pull-throughs, 30 & 50 amp service, water, electric, sewer, dump station, restroom, showers, childrens play area, rec hall, large pool, camp store, lending library, and Wi-Fi (though it is not available in all areas). The grounds are clean and the staff is friendly. The campground also hosts a music festival during Labor Day, and features a big grassy field, a pond, and lots of trees. Despite the occasional jet noise from the nearby naval air base, this campground is a great place to stay.

Paul Bunyan Campground is a friendly, family campground located in Bangor, Maine. The campground offers spacious, open, and shaded sites on a rolling terrain. They are open from May 1st through October 15th and can accommodate every size trailer, motorhome, fifth wheel, or tent. All sites have a picnic table and fire ring. The owners, Dennis and Amy Hachey, welcome all to their camping family and enjoy meeting new friends and seeing old friends each year.
